Yeah lived through and loved the Ferguson era. Been a bit more sobering since then!Ah, were you old enough to enjoy the gravy years of United? Must have been heady.
And the Spurs' times are a bit too interesting. Who knows what would've happened had Kane and Son been healthy. But then again, really great teams have backups.
I’ll need to try and find that. Intentionally marooned or stuck...? There’s not many shops left in Scotland really or not that I’ve found so far!Weclome
Coincidentally I was just reading in the Dundee Courier this morning about the auction a few years back to sell off the stuff from the old Charles Rattray shop in Perth
(I'm a Fifer currently marooned on a tropical island)
I’m from near there originally. Good tobacconists on King Street - Herbert Love.Welcome from Copenhagen! Lived in Aberdeen for a year more than 20 years ago now.. good memories!

There’s one in Leith which I use the most, Tincup mentioned it. There’s also one in Ayr but it’s a bit far for me to travel.Pretty good shop in/near Edinburgh. I can look it up if anyone's interested.
That sounds like a wonderful idea!Yeah most are closing up when the owners pass away (the one in KDY went a few years ago too) The one in Leith Walk is still there
About the only good thing is it gives you a great excuse for a day-trip to Dublin and into the Peterson store & the other tobacco store round the corner
Intentionally marooned for work, I'll head home when I get tired of the sunshine.....
Ah, yes, that's the one. Got a good Parker Hungarian there for a nice price. There’s one in Leith which I use the most, Tincup mentioned it. There’s also one in Ayr but it’s a bit far for me to travel.
