Hello from Latakia-esque California

Welcome, from Pasadena. We woke up yesterday morning to a layer of ash on everything from the bobcat fire, thoughts going out to the firefighters right now.

The whole state is on fire. I'm near Sacramento and ash is falling here too. It's better today; yesterday I didn't go out and smoke it was so thick and heavy.

My winemaker friends out there are just hitting peak harvest season. I bet it will smell great when the flames hit those vinayards... a semi-dry, smokey rosé
