Wonderfully crafted- handsome pipe!
I really like the simple, sturdy design. Has a generous bowl size and thick wall.

I like large bowls because to my taste, it seems that they "open" better the tobacco I prefer (Va-Pe and some Burley accent), and again imho, I find that Calabrian briar responds quite well to this kind of tobacco, but here it should be noted that the origin does not matter much but how it was treated.
Yes, I started smoking it recently and I felt good, sweet and dry, of course, with particular attention to the drying of some tobaccos that were a little too humid in origin.
