Hello from southern Indiana.
Been a lurker for a good while and thought I should sign up and become a member to participate and engage more.
As a very young man I used to smoke a pipe...mostly to visit the only tobacco shop in town whose owner had a particularly attractive daughter, and learned many things about tobacco from that family run business.
I also ended up making a good friend with the daughter who married my neighbor....another story for another time.
After that I was just a social cigarette smoker, the beer bone's connected to the smoke bone kind of guy... but not anymore.
Anyway after many years the pipe bug bit me again, and I picked up a cob, and a sack of a local shops bulk mild aromatic and have been really enjoying it.
So, today I went all in, ordered my dream pipe from Smokingpipes.
A Savinelli Fantasia rusticated 320 and a tin of Mac Baren 7 Seas Royal.
Then I promptly joined here...
So thanks to all whose threads I have read and learned so very much from, and am looking forward to furthering my fledgling endeavour into all things pipes.
Cheers,
M
