Hello from Dubai

Welcome. Dubai was fun for me but my friends had a hard time working there (they are French) as the philosophies of life are completely different from what they know. Who knows, maybe you can trade some of the fantastic dates you can get there for some tobaccos from elsewhere...

I can imagine... i am in the GCC for 15 years and the first 5 have been about "adjusting" ;-).... I am originally from Germany

Welcome to our forum. I have been to Dubai 2 times, the last one being last year. I just hope that you are not planning to smoke a pipe outside in August

I thought this was in reference to some sort of new law then my brain remembered what 'humidity' was.
