Looks like you’re pretty much good to go… I’d look into blending tobaccos so you can develop your tastes. Don’t over do it like I did, take your time, it can take a few years to really start to get a handle on the nuances. Welcome from Virginia!
Blending my own tobacco...oh man! Another rabbit hole I can dive into! I may wait till I smoke down some of my purchased tobacco, but yes, definitely something I will be looking into in the future! Thanks!

here is my collection about 3 weeks in
Welcome! That's a pretty decent spread. Are there ones that you enjoy more?

Definitely getting better at smoking slower/less hot will help with finding what you like. I thought I hated virginias but what I really hated was getting a burnt tongue from my poor smoking technique.

Still practicing keeping my bowl cool/warm...I'm thoroughly enjoying finding hints of different flavors from tobacco which is why my bowl often gets hot...always looking for those flavor pockets!

Yeah it really just takes time. I still find it hard to slow down at times because I'm so excited to have a bowl.
