I’ve never had a problem with the HU paint cans, even after several years. They also re-seal well. If the Heinrich’s are similar I wouldn’t worry.

Note: the current HU tins available in the US won’t re-seal like the paint cans.

In my experience, the concerns over paint can tins is overblown and likely based on assumptions rather than actual performance. I have decades old Poul Olsen My Own Blend paint can tins and they're still fine. In fact, the lack of a rubber seal which tends to degrade over time and collect tobacco fragments when opened makes them better than all other tins for resealing. At least that's my experience. All tins may eventually fail, though.
