LOL. I think I understand.I fail to see the problem there.
That is a BEAUT! I would love to get my mitts on a piece of treasure like that!
I have never seen such a perfect skull! I often cringe at some of the 'skulls' out there, but that is a masterpiece! And the color? Exquisite....and will only get better! Its as close to anatomically correct a skull as I've ever seen in meerschaum.

I like Yanik's skulls but they're too horror movie rather than realistic.I have never seen such a perfect skull! I often cringe at some of the 'skulls' out there, but that is a masterpiece!
They're still not as bad as 'vikings' with horned helmets. ?I like Yanik's skulls but they're too horror movie rather than realistic.
Your Moretti looks great, these look gimmicky to me, I reckon the tobacco will have changed midway through a bowl, probably become stoved
Those are Boswell's big magnums. Hard to get too as one guy buys up most of them every year.these look gimmicky to me
Even with my regular smoking pipes I only get 10 from one.when I get 20 out of one!
Yeah, once I got my first big pipe years ago, I was instantly hooked. Here is my Boswell Jumbo XXX nosewarmer! It has some weight. Reason I like big pipes is everything is multiplied. Think of a small pipe smoke session, all the moments of perfection....in a big pipe those moments are simply prolonged! It is true that moisture needs to be taken into consideration, but when doesn't it come into play? I say, do what makes you happy! View attachment 67671

The Bruce Weaver started it didn't it.I’m feeling that now.

Preben Holm's Ben Wades will scratch that itch very well.It got the ball rolling. This recent Tinsky has uncorked something fierce.
But - SP is insisting I send it back to them because I noticed a few small scratches on it. So, as much as I like it, it may end up not being mine when all is said and done.
@ofafeather I can almost smell all that pipe smoke - and some of it will be mine in a couple of years time!
Keep an eye out for these: Bent - King's Imperial - Pipes - http://blakemar.co.uk/pipes/kings-imperial/bentI am always seeing pipes that way between 1oz -2oz. I was wondering where I might acquire pipes of excellent quality that are 4oz+ in weight. I am simply looking for heftier pipes. Thank you.
