I guess I'm fortunate in that my purchase from Shiny Pipes wasn't a bad experience. I bought a Gresham Giant in the 342 shape and it was remarkable, light and solid pipe.
My two cents on the pipe in discussion: Al, you we're right to pass, I think it's a later production, especially since the C is stamped and the 4-digit number. What other Comoy ever had a 4-digit number in the family production period?
It reminds me of my Barling guinea grain from the post-trans years, it looks good, but, the quality is not where it used to be level. [of course the missing REG tells me for sure]
