A slow night at work allows my mind to wonder and this is driving me crazy.
2017 Grasmere Flake for the 89th smoke in the meerschaum owl.I kept pausing between them and playing snippets, yes very similar melody/chord progression! What you puffing on at work Duane?
Glad to see my connection wasn't listed. I searched for results of the comparison of the two above and didn't find anything. I haven't fed my brain any useless information in some time so I think it's taken it upon itself to find some. The Alan Parsons Project - Samples, Covers and Remixes

Along those lines...I don't know but I prefer the Jack Parsons project.
The answer: "Talking In Your Sleep"!Interesting find. Playing in cover bands for years I run into this pretty often. We've actually had to cut songs from our setlist because they sound too similar to each other, or sometimes we do a medley such cases and run directly from one song to the other. We are currently considering doing such a medley with R.O.C.K. in the USA, by John Mellencamp, and What I Like About You, by the Romantics, both similar sounding songs.
A big problem putting similar songs in a set list is that it's easy to get them mixed up and play the wrong song.
