I have perhaps an ounce of the original McC Anniversary Blend left. It was Tinned in 2002 and I opened My last tin early this year. This is a VERY light Lat blend yet it is still very present in the blend. My next two tins are from the 05 tinning and I am not at all worried about it. After that I have several of the 2010 tins. I am quite sure I will enjoy those too.

Thanks Jefff. My favorite blend is IRC Gourmet English (I feel like I comment about it in every other thread I post in!). It is sold in bulk, so I'm happy to know I can stuff a few pounds in mason jars and it should last quite a while.

I just bought an 8oz. Tin of C&D Corn Cob Pipe and A Button Nose, aromatic! Yea, I'm scared too. When I start looking at aromatics in the way of actually having something to smoke just to smoke, we're in deep shit.

So frustrating to keep seeing the words out of stock or back ordered . Not that I'm a big smoker I dont do it everyday usually once or twice a week . I'm still finding out what I like and don't like really and there are a few that I would like to at least try but with this hoarding I can't even do that UGH.. Seen somewhere that for people that think they are going to hoard now and resale later for a profit are going to have some kind of FDA regulation hindering that process ..

Something about needing a middle man AKA broker to hable the transaction for a fee .

Anyone else hear that?

FDA / ATF / etc. can make whatever rules they want. Whether anyone will follow those rules re: privately selling tins is a different story. I don't think many pipers are stocking up for profit anyway. Seems that many just want to secure a good supply of their favorite blends before the industry becomes (even more) overly regulated.

When I saw what Xmas cheer was going for on ebay I rounded up all I have only 4, 08,09 and 2 2011's. Got them listed up... Not a real fan of the Ketchup taste.

I just did a casual check of my favorite post-2007 blends and they're still in stock. Please remain calm, everyone, said the guy who has The Storage Tub of Tobacco-magedon and is working on another huge bin. I think we had had a brief spike of buying around Aug. 8 and now things are settling again. I base this in smokingpipes.com's tin sales' rankings. My favorites jumped around that date and have fallen in the rankings, which is just fine by me.
