Likewise. I did some stocking of other greats like Mac Baren Old Dark Fired and Brebbia Balkan as well. Im sure they’ll get the boot eventually if not changed. They live on in my cellar, as well as McClelland and a whole bunch of great blends that are no longer in production.
@Skippy B. Coyote has already posted this here on the forum (I suppose he is the recipient of the email).
Sorry that I missed your original post, Skippy!Indeed! Though it was in the middle of a rather long thread and I don't mind it being reposted wherever it's useful.
I think it’d be too extensive to try at home to even get relatively close. Lots of different top flavors in that one. And then it’s a plug as well.@woodsroad You are now free to post the recipe for war horse if you have it.
A plug - yes. But crumble cake is not beyond the realm of possibility. The toppings and casing are possible as well. There are always more than one way to skin a cat. I have had this conversation with many others. The current version of War Horse is itself a reflection of the original. Home blenders could actually add back ingredients that Russ chose not to use such as belladonna.I think it’d be too extensive to try at home to even get relatively close.
