At cellar temperature 55f .I think the whole room temperature thing is misleading as remember years ago houses/rooms were much cooler than they are today pre central heating.At least in the Uk

Guinness draft is nothing like bottled guinness I cant stand draught but like bottled

As a Brit I totally agree cold hides the flavours of ales when served cold and british cask beer is not warm if served at the correct temp

I must state here I drink cask beer in preferrence to anything else even brewing my own as I now live in Greece
your opinions may vary

My favorite beer is Guiness stout, and yes I like it cold as I have had it from many many pubs in Ireland.. That being said, I am not opposed to drinking one that is room temperature if it's an emergency. Just had a cold one with lunch at Maggie Smiths pub..
