Greetings from Istanbul/Turkey

Welcome from west central Florida. Do you see people smoking a pipe every once in a while there in Istanbul, or is it a rare sighting? A couple of days ago, I went to go pick up some Chinese food and had to wait a little bit so I got out of the car to smoke my pipe. Some guy was in his pickup truck a little ways from me smoking one too when he saw me he immediately started waving lo,l the camaraderie was right there. Gotta love it !
We gather here in friendship, drawn together by a common interest, the fellowship and "Brotherhood of the Bowl". No matter the bowl... Briar, Meerschaum, or whatever type Mother Nature has provided, we gather in peace and share our smoke, and maybe a tall tale or two! With a very thankful heart, my new friends...
