After smoking some rather bland tobaccos, I want to experience something that is very flavorful and won't make my home smell like ass the very next day. My hometown has only one small tobacco store so nothing too rare please.
My recommendation is Milonga by Dan Tobacco. Quality Virginia armed with subtle but quite aromatic vanilla & caramel. Bystanders will enjoy it almost as much as you do.After smoking some rather bland tobaccos, I want to experience something that is very flavorful and won't make my home smell like ass the very next day. Might be easier to say what they do stock or you might get a long list of blends you can't get hold of.After smoking some rather bland tobaccos, I want to experience something that is very flavorful and won't make my home smell like ass the very next day. Laws forbid from listing here :/Might be easier to say what they do stock or you might get a long list of blends you can't get hold of.
Can't order online either :/Oops. On the phone its really tiny. Sorry
In finland can you order online?
Im in the barren tobacco wasteland of France where tue government decided what tobacco exist. Most of it isn’t worth bring home. Look to Germany for the good stuff
I just looked it up. Looks like you have similar laws as france. There are ways though. Takes a little doing but it’s possible
Dan tobacco makes sone really nice blends
It sorta pisses me off to hear this when a newby comes on here and says that tobacco smells like ass. Go buy a vape pen and smoke grape flavored junk all day.and won't make my home smell like ass the very next day.
Holy moly that's restrictive. How are the prices there? I always whine about Canadian tobacco laws ($50+ for a tin, drab packaging), but I'm thankful I can still order from the US, despite the heavy customs dutiesLaws forbid from listing here :/
Basically I just have to ask the clerk if they have it or not.

They have a law that forbids you from listing tobaccos on a website in the USA?Laws forbid from listing here :/
I believe they're saying that laws prevent the store from advertising their wares, so he can't pull an inventory from them. He would need to visit the store and remember or write down all the blends, and would have to ask for them specifically to see. They have a law that forbids you from listing tobaccos on a website in the USA?
With all the hassle, I would have to ask why you are even bothering with pipes.
Wow! That was uncalled for! For your information, the best room smell and taste I've had so far was from latakia and another from some English tobacco I can't recall. It sorta pisses me off to hear this when a newby comes on here and says that tobacco smells like ass. Pure tobacco makes a home smell warm and inviting, to me. Aromatics smell way worse to me the next day in the room. I can barely stand next to someone smoking an aromatic. It definitely ruins my own smoke.
So, my suggestion is to avoid the neophyte mistake of turning to heavily topped aromatics, and just learn to enjoy the pure flavors of tobaccos. You won't be getting much taste out of those anyways. Like licking a candle verses smelling it. Even the word "aromatic" refers to just how it smells.
You will get way better flavors from exploring pure tobaccos. Unless you are one of them tobacco hating Nazis that wants to smoke a pipe, but hates tobacco tastes and aromas.
50g cost roughly 40€ (about 58 cad), but they are not sold in tins anymore since new law demands all tobacco to be sold in this drab olive plastic packaging.Holy moly that's restrictive. It is illegal to buy from even the internet. Your only choice is real physical store. They can not even deliver it to you, you have to be buy it yourself at the location.I could be wrong but your odds of getting a package from a shop within the Eu is greater than one from overseas. Far fewer packages are actually examined closely between EU members. Those coming from outside are examined more closely. Having your package seized is greater.
In many EU countries it is not leagal to sell tobacco online. Techinically its not legal to receive it from across borders either. Basically, everyone wants their tax dollars.
As for smell in the house...I dont like to smoke up the house either. I open a door or window or I smoke outside. I suggest the op look at tobacco reviews site and look at "Room Note". As we know some are more pleasnt to non smokers.
No, we have a miscommunication. Many times aromatic smokers will say that tobacco smells like ass to them... which is a very provocative thing to say on a pipe forum. I thought that you were one of these lots, with the taste to smell part of your questioning.Wow! That was uncalled for! Some pipe tobaccos simply smell awful the next day, this is not a myth. As for your opinion on aromatics, I could not care less since I smoke all types without restrictions.
