Can you see your love for me shining through? Cuz what you see in me, I can see in you. And soon enough, you and me we'll be out of time. And kindness will be all we can leave behind.

Love the thread. Interesting on the Winston Churchill Harrow quote is that the person who introduced him basicly was attempting to rip churchill off due to his poor academic performance whilst at harrow. He certainly showed him when he recieved that Thunderous applause. A true man of Dignity.

The below quote is attributed to Christ in the Gnostic gospel of Thomas. I’m struck by how it resonates with core concepts in Jungian psychology.
"If you bring forth what is inside you, what you bring forth will save you. If you don't bring forth what is inside you, what you don't bring forth will destroy you." ~ Jesus Christ (Book of Thomas)

One of my favorites, words to live by.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you're hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" - Rocky Balboa

One of my favorite quotes of all time is from 1917 after then-Vice President Thomas Marshall stated "what this country needs is a really good five-cent cigar". Prominent newspaper columnist Franklin P. Adams said in response:
"There are plenty of good five-cent cigars in the country. The trouble is they cost a quarter. What this country needs is a good five-cent nickel."
