One of the Blue Angels, on a practice flight, from my front yard.
Sunrise topwater fishing. Taken in the Gulf Islands National Seashore. If you look very closely, near the top of the photo over the the building, you can see the topwater plug in flight.
This is Aries. She's a Red-Shouldered Hawk and one of the Ambassador Animals at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge. I could take photos of her all day.
On my way to work this morning, the Sun is promising me a very warm day. 
17 weeks now and 26 pounds of fury! Actually, incredible personality!
My oldest stepdaughter sitting next to William Faulkner in Oxford MS and attempting to take his pipe. I think his look says it all!

Most people hate that much empty space and can't wait to get past it when taking a road trip.
Me? I drive around such regions simply to experience them. They are my destination. Stop at little diners, sleep in mom & pop motels, pull off the road to watch the show when CWS (cool weather shit) is happening...
