Got my First Over $30 Pipe for Christmas :-)

So I've been smoking since about July and have 3 cobb pipes and 1 cheap 30$ amazon briar pipe. My wife got me my first objectivley pretty pipe to add to my rotation

Probably not as bespoke as some of the nice ones but i love the burl and graining of it. Its an absolutely stunning pipe in my eyes!!

Even better it smokes so much nicer than my cobb and cheapo briar pipe!!! It actually stays lit much longer and the draws are much easier. Definitely will look to establish a bigger pipe collection over time.

I have the same pipe, but your pipe has a nicer grain than mine. This is the pipe that made me realize I prefer a more squat shape with thicker walls. Smoke it in good health!

Yep, its the cross section of the grain as seen here unstained.

You might want to consider getting an estate pipe or two. If you're in two minds about cleaning up an estate, there are a few vendors who do a good job of cleaning them up prior to listing them. PM me if you would like a couple of names of reputable vendors with affordable estates.
