Cow's, sheep's and goat's milk are some of the healthiest and most nutritious foods on the planet. What they want is that we consume more processed products. The health problem in human beings is sedentary lifestyles. Recently I was substituting animal milk for cereal, oat, nut and soy drinks from the supermarket, and I had a nutritional deficit, because I stopped drinking milk, the milk I have been drinking since I was born, from cows and goats. Kefir, yogurts, Greek yogurts, cottage cheese, fresh cheese, goat colostrum, this is not healthy? What is happening in Europe? We have completely lost our heads.
I don't know of it is healthy or not. I just know that i love la flor de huesca and payoyo chesse. How something that taste so good can be harmful for health?. Specially with a good Ribera and some Joselito XXX would not harm me neither.

This sort of thing has been going on for a while now in the UK.

First we had people pulling down a statue of some guy who was involved in the slave trade way back when. They tried using democracy to get rid of it but that didn't work so they they just took it upon themselves to tear it down.

Next we had the "extinction rebellion" people blocking large roads by walking onto them and gluing themselves to the concrete. People were inconvenienced and couldn't go about their business.
The police have been pretty hopeless on many occasions. I've seen footage of them asking if the protesters are ok and do they need water etc.
The cops handled it correctly at the Queen's jubilee parade. These same people tried to block the parade and the police rushed on and manhandled/dragged them away. Again, this was another example of them not getting their own way through democracy so they used "direct action".

These vegans and their milk protest are just the latest to use this tactic.

"In what sense does any of this represent a rebellion?"

If Vegans start disrupting the economy I'd bet you could actually get a majority to vote in favor of forcing everyone to eat meat.
