I thought about this a bit further last night. I would say in order of my most enjoyable pipes;

1) my cobs (MM patriot being my favorite)
2) My plain Jane Meer
3) My MM hardwood pipes (they take a couple bowls to break in, but they are almost indestructible)

After that it is pretty much whatever.
I do have several briar's I am fond of.
I seem to have a Dr. Grabow Freehand or bulldog in hand a lot.
I have a Peterson I like, but the bowl is very small, it might be my best smoking briar. It travels well.

Funny, I had buyers remorse on the few Briars I got because I smoke the Cobs so much.
