They’ve been trying to demonize coffee for a while now, one day it’s good for you and the next day it’s not.

Buy good coffee beans from a local roaster, that’s the best way unless you get your own green beans and start roasting your own coffee.

Never use the milk aspect but wife sometimes does. It comes out at nearly the perfect drinking temperature so it's good when one is on the go. Otherwise, we like French Press, which I've got brewing right now. Camp coffee in an old fashioned percolator is fun too. I've also used those little Italian stove-top brewers but I don't seem to like the one I have right now.

My Dad use to get this coffee that was real expensive and came in this little tiny bag. He would only use it every now and then but this stuff would have the whole house smelling good. It had an enormous aroma too it that was just incredible. I wish I knew what it was called. It was either like a dark red or black and gold bag. But man that coffee smelled good. No clue what it tasted like because I never got any of it. Too precious too waste on someone that wouldn't have appreciated it at the time. But now I can appreciate good coffee I'd really love to try some more premium blends like that. Coffee that's special. I've had some good coffee at Cafes or coffee shops or whatever but I want to make that good coffee at home.

My wife would like this. She loves high tech appliances and convenience. My kitchen looks crazy with air fryers and toasters and microwaves and coffee pots lol, ain't no room to put anything. We got a decent size family so the kitchen is always busy. And all these appliances pulling power my circuit breaker kicks all the time. Can't run all these things at once. I tell my wife all the time. Lol

I use a moka pot. Then I put heated milk in a french press and plunge it about ten times. It makes a great froth. I pour that over the coffee for my own cappuccino. Ive owned little battery frothers before. They are crap in comparison.

I posted about unfiltered coffee and ldl levels once in the past and someone pressed me for citations like I was an undergrad before. I only drink a cup a day regardless

I've seen in your photos your coffee always looks good. I like mine just black, but I like when it has that frothly brown top too it.

I don’t drink much coffee, but my wife is happy with this machine. It offers both options.

She uses the little refillable baskets instead of pods.

I got one of those little screen cups for bag blends, but it always ends up getting in the cup. I actually almost bought this same coffee maker yesterday but went with just the k cup version. Or my wife did, she didn't see the need in both..... Mean while I think we do lol. I wish I would have insisted.

Might that have been the A&P 8 O'clock blend?
