Lighter, Pipe Cleaner, Pipe tool in shirt pocket. Unlit pipe in shirt pocket; once lit it stays in my mouth unless I stop smoking and it goes in a car rest in cup holder. I don't go to bars and you can't smoke in bars or restaurants here anyway even outside on patios but there is usually an outdoor smoking area somewhere - usually outback...around here they are usually neat and clean and patio like. You could just get a woman to hold everything or get a vest.

I try not to smoke a pipe around others because, you know how it is, every outing becomes a St. Bruno Commercial ! ;):ROFLMAO:

If I'm out and about, I take a pipe and some tobacco. Mostly, of late, the group 3 White Spot Zulu, which is small enough to stuff in a pocket when a bus arrives, for example. Did that today mid-smoke and did not set myself on fire after catching the bus, so it's all good.

I'm sure this is gonna get a bunch of laughs but "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn..." 😂

middleton-black-and-mild.jpg1443206712363-0.jpeg

Middleton's still makes quality pipe tobacco imo and more than satisfies the urge while getting rowdy with friends... or especially when out in the wild... ever try floating on a river raft with a $300 pipe you gotta worry about? lol, no thanks.. a $5.95 pack is far more easy to be cavalier with... or an $8-12 stick of something nice if it's summer time.

I recently purchased a beautiful Chris Morgan Briar Cigar which I'm playing around with... may do well for the pubs but again, I don't really have the desire to risk such an heirloom out on the boat, etc.

I have a tactical short and it has too many pockets, most of them I don't even know where they are, it's supposed to be tactical. I prefer jeans. Because with tactical pants, when it comes to digging in the pocket, it's stressful. There are pockets inside other pockets.

I'm usually lunting with a corn cob or a morgan bones, and use a 'pipe sock' from Al Pascia that's kind of perfect.

But if I'm on a roadtrip or playing golf, I'll use a proper tobacco pouch with a pipe holder. (Also from site sponsor Al Pascia)

I often smoke a pipe in public. When I am going outI almost always preload two pipes with a favorite blend and put a wind cap/screen on them secured by a rubber band. I have a bunch of shirts with two front pockets. In the left pocket is the pouch of Carter Hall. I've been carrying a pouch of CH in my front pocket for as long as I can remember. In my right shirt pocket is one of the pipes and the other pipe is usually in a pants pocket. If I smoke through the two pre-lit pipes I just reload with some CH and I'm good to go. By the way, when I am out and about, I almost always smoke older factory pipes that I have restored. That way, if I happen to leave a pipe or snap a stem(I have never done either) I am not devastated by the loss of an expensive pipe.
