I like Telegraph Hill and Haddo’s. Penny Farthing was a dud, but I’ll revisit it in a few years.
Fillmore was interesting but the touch of Latakia in it doesn’t really work for me.
I didn’t much care for Sixpence when I tried it fresh, but revisiting it after six months in a jar was a much better experience.
Stonehenge was enjoyable even with the bit of Lakeland in it.
I haven’t tried Stratford.
When it comes to Va/Pers, I prefer McClelland 2015, RO Perique Series GP-11, HU Old Fredders, D&R Rimboche AB, St James flake, and a few others.
C&D’s Virginias aren’t top drawer, though Greg has done well with them.

I personally feel like they are starting to source much better VA’s as of late or are learning how to process them better. Maybe they are just using them in their small batch releases but I think the XX Flake is up there with the best of them, it is a quality VaPerOr. It’s also a proper flake... the first I’ve seen from them outside of Stonehenge Flake, which was a Gawith product anyway. I also think that Jeremy Reeves has really proven himself to be quite the master blender. I’ve been very impressed with a lot of his blends.
