I find it a curious thing that many feel the need to consult a doctor before starting something that they know will be beneficial to health and well-being. Do these same folks consult the doctor before getting drunk, getting high, overeating, having a one-night stand with a stranger, or doing other things _known_ to be harmful to health?

We need a doctor to tell us if we are healthy enough to exercise… which will only ever make us healthier? I think we’ve all been brainwashed.

Ask your doctor before starting any new exercise program started as a legal disclaimer to try to prevent lawsuits. It has evolved into an excuse for some to never start exercising due to "health issues". Combine that with the new "body positive" movement that affirms unhealthy lifestyles and choices and we are on our way to a healthcare crisis as limited resources become more and more overloaded.

Have not gotten my ruck out, but I have spent a fair portion of the last 2 days shuffling everything in my home office from one room to another as I am trying to wrap up remodeling my office while clearing out the guest room for my sister in laws visit.
