Personally, I'd stay away from their house brand stuff. They usually have good variety packs, though.
Cigar Page is my favored place to buy. I don't understand smoking the small Cigars that are essentially the same size as a cigarette. The only purpose they serve, from my perspective, is to provide a quick hit of nicotine as I think they all taste like crap. You may as well stick with the cigarettes.

A pipe is a great source for a quick hit. Smoke what you want or have time for, put it down and come back to it when you're ready. Buy some real Cigars instead of those little crap sticks and enjoy them fully when you have the time. Start with petite corona, corona or even a Robusto. I'd recommend Avo or Fuente to start, perhaps Padron. Relatively mild but good quality Cigars.

Another recommendation occurs to me:
Vincent Manil has a couple different sizes of little cigar made of his Belgian Burley. Iirc (and if I can properly describe what I recall), the stuff's a little floral, kinda like if I were to try imagining a fusion of Oriental and Cigar leaf.

I bought a box of the Mignons in December. They don't have the flavor complexity of the pipe tobacco, but they are satisfying, especially at $1 each. To me, the flavor is similar to the Macanudo Inspirados (red), if my memory of those still serves.

The Tabac Manil pipe tobacco is much better, of course. Reserve du Patron suits my palate quite well.

First and foremost, I always recommend Arturo Fuente above all.

They do sell tins of small cigars, probably not the cheapest option, but I can't remember specifically.

For small, quality cigars, I would also recommend Romeo y Julietas. They're not too hard to come by, and probably cheaper. They're also smaller, closer to a cigarette.

I enjoyed a Romeo y Julietas this evening. It was quite nice. Im gonna order more, and I'm going to order some Montecristo minis too. Thought I'd try them. I'll look for the Arturo Fuente!

I am just venturing into the cigar world, after a decade of pipe smoking....and I'm finding that I enjoy cigars more than pipes. I'll always pipe, but I find myself wanting a cigar more often than not.

Cigarillos and cheroots are really nice for a quick 20 minute smoke, my stash includes Bandidos (both original and russian cream), CAO Eileen's dream, Old Shenandoah (original and bootlegged) and Victor Sinclair. I like the Romeo y julietas minis, but they are nothing but a tease!! Way too small, but perfect for a super quick puff...

My daily go to is Dutch masters President and Palma...tastes good, made well, consistent, affordable.

So I ordered two Cigars today. I ordered a Padron: Natural 3000 and a Warped: Cloud Hopper No.53. Both of them are fully Nicaraguan. so maybe next couple I buy I'll try Dominican or Ecuadorian or something. Will see how it goes. I think next couple months I'm really going to embark on a Cigar adventure. I've found what pipe tobaccos I like, now I need to find me some Cigars.

Both your first 2 are great choices. Hard to go wrong with Padron and i found the Cloud Hopper cigar and pipe baccy both enjoyable. For Dominican origin i'd definitely check out the Fuente products, especially the Sungrown lines and Ashton VSG. Enjoy the journey! 👍

It's fun. For me, pipes came relatively easy- cigars took much longer

Enjoy the adventure :)

So I ordered two more Cigars from SP. I really enjoyed the Padron Natural 3000, so I ordered a Padron Maduro 3000, which is a Nicaraguan with a Mexican Wrapper. And I was going to order another Cloud Hopper because I really enjoyed it too but I ordered a ADVentura Blue Eyed Jack's Revenge Corona. It's a Dominican with a Mexican Wrapper.

I encourage you to first educate yourself about cigars in general, that way you can shop and buy armed with knowledge. To that end, allow me to recommend two books:

1. "The Ultimate Cigar Book" by Richard Carleton Hacker. This book is in its Fourth Edition and will tell you almost everything you wish to know about cigars. Chapters include;
"In the Beginning..."
"Cigar Making: From Seedling to Cigar"
"Finding the 'Perfect' Cigar"
"The Ritual of Lighting" "The Etiquette of Smoking"
"The Secrets of Successful Cigar Storage"
"Cigar Accessories: The Aftermarket of Smoke"
"Spirits and Smoke"
"Celebrity Cigar Smokers"
"International Compendium of Cigar Brands"
"Cigarspeak - A Dictionary of Terms"

2. "The Connoisseur's Book of the Cigar" by Zino Davidoff. From childhood Mr. Davidoff lived and loved the tobacco business and fine cigars in particular. Here's a link to an article by Katja Gnann which details Mr. Davidoff's background and career, and which appeared on February 27, 2009 in the online cigarjournal.com. As for the book, chapters include:
"The Know-How of the Smoker"
"Choosing a Cigar"
"Keeping Your Cigars"
"The Gotha of the Cigar"

I hope that you find this information to be helpful as you begin your cigar journey.

Good luck!

I didn't like the Blue Eyed Jacks Revenge at all, it was real bitter and just not a good flavor at all. The Padron Maduro 3000 was absolutely amazing.
