@mso489 I don't think it's a matter of the U.S. not being a big enough market, but rather that G&H isn't big enough to keep up with the U.S. market.
From what I understand the G&H facility is tiny and operating with museum worthy equipment and a very small staff. Simply put, I think they are cranking out the highest quality and quantity of tobacco possible under the circumstances, but all those crazy tobacco hoarding pipe maniacs like us are buying the stuff as fast or faster than they can make it.
Not a bad place to be for a seller, TBH.

I bought a bunch of new to me GH blends and Kendal Flake is really standing out. It is so damn good. I'm on my way to being such a GH fanboy.
I definitely will look forward to having more of various G&H blends in the future, when there is a will there is a way too'
This thread prompted me to revisit the Gawith Hoggarth section of my cellar. While perusing the aisles, I came upon some three year old Brown Flake, Licorice. I remember enjoying it when it was fresh, so I packed a cob and went out to clear the snow off the cars.
What an enjoyable smoke! The licorice was still noticeable in the bag, but not at all in the smoke. It was smooth, rich and flavorful. Mild nic. Toward the end of the bowl, I got a bit of a celery flavor, but by that time I was finished with the cars (including taking the 4Motion wagon out for a push-the-envelope spin around the unplowed streets), and it was time to head into the house for some hot chocolate and chocolate-chip cookies from scratch.
And for those of you who love hot chocolate, I can heartily recommend this Dutch-process cocoa.
