Just filled my truck; paid $1.40 per liter - or, for you U.S. folk, $5.31 per gallon. There is something wrong when I have to complete two transactions just to fill my tank (the pay-at-the-pump option will give you a maximum of $100 per). What are you all paying (for regular)?

WEll it depends for me, I live in jersey, so with the gas storage tanks at newark we dont pay as much. I believe it as 3.50 when I was home. At school in PA its about 3.80 depending on the day. I also drive an suv so it sucks hardcore

My Durango has to have mid-grade or higher gas, so I'm paying about $80 per tank. I have an Ingle's discount card, though, so I get 10c off every gallon. It's helpful for a 25 gal tank!

$3.50 here in AL. And alot of gas stations here cut you off at $75.00, so I have to fill up twice if I want a FULL tank. My V8 Ram is thirsty.

Dervis, what year Ram have you got, and how is it in terms of milage? I've heard the V8 Hemi gets better milage than the 4.7l V8 in my '03 Dakota, and with the wifes car paid off next month, its very conceivable that I will upgrade pretty quick.

Even at $3.88 (Premium) I only need about $15 to fill up the bike. I usually pay $8-$10, topping it off. I have a Chevy Aveo that takes about $30.

$3.99 per gallon here in Rockford, IL. Which is about an hour and a half north and west of Chicago. Chicago gas pumps probably require an equal volume exchange of your blood for their gas.

I live 1.75 miles from my workplace. I commute by bicycle a minimum of 2 days per week and also ride my motorcycle during spring-summer-fall. I don't like riding in the rain so I do have an old Honda CRV 4 cyl. Sometimes in the summer I get away with one fill-up a month for about $45-$50. I saw this crap coming a long time ago and adjusted my lifestyle accordingly. It's been a while since I was at the pump but I think it's around $3.50 for 87 octane here in Ohio.

I work at a gas station in the heart of Illinois, and whenever gas starts to creep up around 3.75 a gallon, something really funny happens. All the old farmers and teachers and a lot of people in general start getting hysterical about what gas prices will be in the future. For instance, our station is sitting at 3.84 a gallon, and the other day some older gent said to me, "Here in a month, this damn gas is gonna be $7 a gallon!", almost as though it is going to skip the $4, $5, and $6 mark and jump straight to $7 a gallon. Mind you, I have no doubt that this may happen some day, but Im pretty sure it wont be tomorrow.
