Feel free to laugh - I get it. I would too if I didn't know. And yes, by itself, it is a horrendously weird blend that will freeze your mouth and lower your body temperature. But when blended with chocolate and mocha - and other such tobaccos - even 1Q for instance - it comes into its own as a background player. Just enough mint to say "Hi there. I'm Frosty. Mind if I give you a kiss? Let me spread my legs around you and rub my inner thigh up and down your....." Okay, wrong forum. Whoops.
Dear PipesMagazine.com Forum, I never thought I would be writing you a letter like this but.....

I was at a Pipe Show at The Briary, and I met this young gentleman of a foreign descent, maybe Italian or something. This was before I had ever started growing tobacco, and we talked for a while about blending. He was very excited about a blend that he had made, and offered me some. I admit, I was having a hard time understanding what he was saying, and I was too polite to keep asking "what," "can you repeat that," etc... I just agreed, and immediately I became regretful, as he pulled out an Altoid tin and proceeded to load my pipe, ha ha.
I lit the pipe, and tried to keep a polite appearance at this strong mint taste overcame me.

I nodded to the gentleman, tried my best not to smile, thanked him, and walked slowly, discretely over tot he potted plant and emptied my pipe. As I was walking away from him, eyes watering, I started wrenching like a cat trying to dispel some fuzz in the back of my throat. I made it to the line to the bathroom, with my eyes feeling swollen, not sure what I was going to do in the restroom, maybe lick the floor to get the taste out of my mouth, but the guy in front of me laughed and said, did you try that guy's minty tobacco?

I have never liked menthol cigarettes, nor Altoid mints, nor those foil wrapped mints they used to have in middle class restaurants in the 80's. I do like mint tea, and I like mint and garlic on lamb or venison... but the line where my mint tolerance is drawn in the sand is drawn close to me and distinctly.

You guys enjoy!
Frosty Mint is a homeopathic blend. The smaller the amount used in a blend, the better it is. I keep saying this but you know people - if a wee bit is good, imagine if I packed in the whole wad. This is why so many men at Palm Springs Tool Shed come out walking around permently bow legged.

I got that, but if you'll re-read my post, I wasn't even talking about this blend, but a homemade one, where I think the guy used Altoid mints.
No I understood. I was looking to add a joke at the end, lol. Sorry, I co-opted the thread. Come to think of it, I should have went with the altoid aspect- lol.
