I had one stolen along with my vehicle not too long ago.

Exactly why I save receipts for all my pipe purchases (and other valuables). Your mom's homeowners insurance and perhaps even your auto insurance should cover that loss. If you have receipts to back up value, that would make it a lot easier. Pix of the pipes would also be a great way to identify values.

I bet the refuse place absolutely forbids folks entering and digging thru the landfill.

Keep us posted, hopefully one of the insurers covers the loss.
