I think Forums already constitutes an order of pipe smokers, though without having to memorize long oaths or learn secret handshakes. We just kind of do this thing, and it is what it is. And though women members do not exactly crowd the door, they are certainly not excluded from full membership, which is a good thing.

used to hang around with shriners. great bunch. ones in raleigh, nc used to play bagpipes. some others were keystone cops in go-carts. always plenty of beer afterwards. some used to smoke pipes.
