Weird, my bent danish stems come so barely bent. But that's why I like them, cause they aren't too severe.Same, but I only get the straight Danish stems and bend them myself. That factory MM bend is too severe.
Wow yeah that's quite a bend! Weird....
That's a cool tip, I am going to give that a go. I agree that sharp bend is aggressive at the last half of an inch from the tip. PITA to get a pipe cleaner through.I use a lighter, though I know many use boiling water.
I’ve never bent the plastic MM bits, but Vulcanite and acrylic will bend easily with a heat gun. I imagine the MM bits would as well.Agreed. How do you bend them? I’d like to give that a shot and see if I can get a nice elongated bent.
Heat them slowly, they soften easily.?Nice looking cobs I like your home-made bent stems. Looks much better than the MM bent stems. I will give that a try next time I order some.
BeeswaxI have a question about how to get a tight forever stem to fit into the shank of my already smoked legend. I just got the stem and it came with a little card that said to smoke it witch will fix the fit.
My question is, do I get the tight stem in as far as I can and then smoke it, and once it's hot/moist push it in the last 1/4 of an inch where it's stuck now? OR do I smoke it with the old stem in it, and then once it's hot change the stems?
Beeswax
Glad to help!?Well that worked like a charm! Thanks Embers!
I must confess I didn’t have pure beeswax I had a knob of archery bow string wax, a mix of beeswax and pine resin. Worked great!
Was very upset to find out that they've closed their business.
I was jut about to buy a "Filtered Style Nose Warmer".
So if anyone has a spare one (color in not important in these circumstances) and would agree to let it go - please, kindly PM me.
