I like that one too. I'm going to have the artist fade the black out on my chest. I won't have a square of black on there so I can do the logo either way. Some of it will bear upon what the artist says will look best, too.
I am so glad I saw this thread. I knew nothing of Black House. Now it is on its way to me along with a tin each of MacBaren's Old Dark Fired, Dunhill's Early Morning and Nightcap, and Escudo Navy DeLuxe. I have not tried any of these tobaccos before. Should make for a whole lot pleasant evenings.
Tomorrow's the first appointment at the tattooist, Cat Tattoo in Addison, TX. This page shows some other work by Joby, the guy who is doing my work. http://www.cattattoo.com/tattoos/
Well I went and did it. After 4-1/2 hours in the chair, My favorite blend is now a permanent part of my skin. I promised it wouldn't be some bullshitty little piece and it isn't. It came out even better than I could have hoped and I will be posting a youtube video at some point.
I'm not going to say what I paid for it, but I hope you all got some Black House this last time around. You won't be seeing any in stock for awhile!
interestingly enough I believe my ex told me once that on males the nipples contain the third highest concentration of nerve endings of any part of the body...and something like double the nerve endings of female nipples.
I've been talking to Russ Ouellette and he's made good on his end of the deal (of course!). We agreed that I would not order huge quamtities at once, so there will still be plenty of Black House for all the Blackbloods and future Blackbloods!
The ink is healing very well and there are no signs of any scabs or scarring. Have any of you guys ever tried Cortizone cream on a new tattoo?
