Food and Drink Pairings?

I once wrote a review about Rattray’s Exotic Orange and (I believe) an Old Fashioned that blew my mind one night. Haven’t done it since, but it was pretty special.

Coffee or tea during the day. Tea Pigs makes two of my caffeine free favourites: Rhubarb+Ginger and Liquorice+Mint. Chamomile also does the trick sometimes. At night, it's usually beer or a little whisky/rum with water on the side. I don't try to pair specific tobaccos with specific beverages, although maybe some day I'll start putting more attention on it.

Wine is not my favourite, which is strange as I love red wine, and unfortunate as I live in Spain and we have lots of awesome wines at great prices. I feel that tobacco generally spoils the flavour of wine somehow. Does it happen to anyone else?
