Just a quick question here. On that flake tobacco do you chop it with a knife before loading, load as is or just what is the technique of smoking it.
you will get varying answers.. some fold and stuff the whole flake, others will rub out the flake.Just a quick question here. On that flake tobacco do you chop it with a knife before loading, load as is or just what is the technique of smoking it.

Like, enough enough?I've tried everything and the damn thing just doesn't stay lit.
I hate flake.
Yes, yes, yes, I'm drying it enough.
That technique, rubbing in ones palms, was one used to tease apart strands for compressed RYO tobacco.you will get varying answers.. some fold and stuff the whole flake, others will rub out the flake.
I like to rub out the flake..
you take it in between your two palms and rub it like a ball..
it will all come apart into ribbon cut. ?
Yes, yes, yes, and yes again.Like, enough enough?
Maybe yo're just not drying it enough.
Have you tried rubbing it out first and then letting it dry?
Like, enough?
Have you tried putting it in the pipe before lighting it?Yes, yes, yes, and yes again.
pretty much same here. For me how I prepare a flake depends on how dense it is.
Usually I just tease a flake, like Orlik Golden Sliced or PS Luxury Navy Flake for e.g., apart with my fingers to separate the strands, then roll into a loose ball and pack.
Orlik GS is a good flake to start with; easy to prepare and has a great taste.
Exactly! Don't know why I doubted you.
You're one of those flake " fan boys", eh?Someone here might call me a "flake-boy." smh. lol.
But yeah I love flakes, maybe broken flakes just a tad better (when done right)
I just rub them between my fingers and put the finer stuff on top to light er' up. I'd don't care about re-lights so often I just pack-n-go.
