Finally got through the waiting room only to find it was all sold out.

How annoying, SP really need to figure their side of things out, especially if they're coming out with new Small Batches every other week.

10 tins max is a bit much.

It is at least good to know the website problems weren’t just happening to me. SP‘s site has been having similar problems off and on for a while now. I am sure the heavy traffic did not help today.

Seems everyone is in buy-it-all-now mode. I’m feeling more fatigue than FOMO.

Took 39 minutes.. maybe lower the buy limit to 5 tins? Maybe give us the date a blend drops but not the time? Has to be a better way to do things. I didn’t think it would be this popular.

Yep. I like what is in that blend. I was planning to get 4-5 tins. I don’t feel that bummed about missing it, though.

With Sutliff gone, I have been telling myself, "It’s OK. There are still plenty of good tobaccos out there.“. Judging by my reaction to this swing-and-a-miss, I really haven’t been engaging in self-deception.

How can a company, knowing that a special release is anticipated, not limit customers to 2 or 3 tins max? SP MAJORLY dropped the ball on this one!

The socialites were really pushing this one hard on the webs.

I believe the wait system was an implementation specifically to deal with peak traffic events. I’m moderately certain there was a thread about it in the past year or so.

Yeah........ I "tapped out" a few years ago on these special releases. The hype is what drives them, and I don't blame the blenders- It's hard to make a go of tobacco sales any day, but when they can issue one of these, hype it up, and sellout in a few hours............... well, that's just money in the bank.
I don't blame them, I just don't "play" anymore................

I agree with you. Seems like it's steadily gotten worse the last couple years, though.

Eh, oh well. It was fun while it lasted. I have plenty of tobacco I know I like for sure.
