Bentley have just contacted me regards my post and have asked if I might suggest someone who might be willing to offer their own skin for trials on the covering of steering wheels. I told them I have a person in mind who would be only too willing to offer his skin if only to save the pelt of some .....err....higher being.

When I told them who it was they politely declined ?

Indeed. Many will to take issue with VW's decision. I suspect, in the end, Volkswagen will probably rethink their decision. I'm betting buyers will demand a leather option, at a minimum. Many people will disagree with the idea they have a better product than leather.

I know a few people who simply love the crowds, smells and sounds of New York or the other "big cities." They wouldn't have it any other way. Well, excepting the current lawlessness. That'll chase a lot of residents across the river or even, horror, into the southern states. The growing "work from home" movement will be a boon for many.

It's simply "different strokes". Big city living certainly is not everyone's metier. It's certainly not mine but, I respect their choice.
