Fellow Portuguese: Where do you Get Pipe Tobacco?

Since we can't get any variety of pipe tobacco in Portugal, I usually take a 1h30m trip from Oporto to a small tobacco shop in Tui (Spain). But unfortunately, there are many blends I've been wanting to try for a long time, such as the Mac Baren Old Dark Fired, that they never had any stock.

There's some people here who about 2 years ago ordered online from Estervals and were lucky enough to get it, I wonder if that's still doable today with the current laws.

You can’t get any pipe tobacco in Portugal?, but I was under the impression they were very tolerant on recreational drugs, to be fair I think as long as drug users don’t commit violent crimes it’s more a medical issue, not criminal, but that’s a side point.

All pipe tobacco is banned, so barbaric.

Buy from the various European show, principally in Germany, that ship by mail.

@elvishrunes @BingBong I’m sorry fellas, that’s not what I meant, I misspoke. I didn’t mean we don’t have any pipe tobacco at all, we just have very few options. You can’t buy tins anywhere, only low quality pouches and at very high prices. That’s why most of us travel to Spain to be able to get our hands on the good stuff.

I visited Lisbon in July and while not having many options, I was able to pick up a few pouches at both Casa Havaneza and Tabacaria Mónaco.

Tabacaria Mónaco was a beautiful little shop with a long history. I even came across a poem written about it in the late 19th century by Fernando Caldeira:

When I go in this uncertainty
From the flaneur, endless, aimless,
At random and by surprise
My sadness assaults me,
I get into Monaco and smoke.

Forget pipe. Go grow figs at Madeira!!!

Pipes, I think, you can order overseas. Tobacco, on the other hand, could be a pain. Unless there are tobacconist around.
