Feelings on custom pipe cases?

Growing up watching horror films and such I've always loved the old school coffins.Being a musician/guitarist I actually own a "Coffin Case" for my guitar.I was wondering if there was any "market" more or less for a pipe case in that shape, custom fit to that specific pipe? I understand it would be more of a novelty thing, as I don't use a case for mine usually but I would for a special pipe.Thanx in advance for any feedback.

I've seen those coffin cases for guitars and there pretty cool, but for a pipe? I know Peterson is coming out with a Dracula pipe, it would be sweet to put that in a coffin box!!

Not what you're probably thinking of but you could always get a pistol coffin case and use it for your pipes/accessories.

A custom pipe coffin case would be cool. I may have to break out the woodworking tools and see what I can come up with for my pipes. If I get around to it I will post pics.

I for one would want one... I mostly smoke freehand or larger pipes, and the pipe/tobacco cases I own won't hold them. (found a freehand style case online but they want over $200 for it..) Doesn't necessarily have to be a coffin, but that fits my personality and preference in movies... Please post pics if you start making one...

I think it would be way cooler to see one made out of wood and all stained up. The black cloth ones just look silly in my opinion.

That's true. The liner, the finish and the parts that would hold pipes and accessories could be the difference. You could even do a leather or vinyl covered version with an embossed logo.

Close but no Penzance..I am trying to work out the details of different factors to be incorporated like multi-pipes,baccy space tools/tampers space.I hope to have a prototype before Halloween.That's the "goal" anyway.
