Just finished a big bowl of H&H's Louisiana Red, and before I call it a night I'm gonna break open a ~2yr. old jar of McClelland's 2015 for comparison purposes. Those Vaper tastebuds are workin' fine just now, so it's a good time for such a comparison.

Smoking a bowl of P.S. Bullseye in a Meerschaum calabash. It has lasted almost 2 hours. With several relights though. 3 mugs of coffee on the side.

Yesterday evening was some CAO Cherry Bomb.
Last night after dinner I had some Kahlua and Irish Cream on the rocks with a bowl of Captain Black Gold. It was a good combo.

Hey Bob,
My order came in from Hearth & Home and 4 Noggins on Friday. I immediately went into a taste frenzy and proceeded to exceed my usual 3 bowl a day exercise. In fact I went 6 Bowls. It was all a smorgasbord Frenzy. All my exhausted taste buds can say is that Anni Cake, Virginia Spice Rock! LA Red - is excellent and the vote is still out on Capital Stairs. 4 Noggins Essence of Maple is good although I am trying to detect more maple in the tobacco.
Whew! Going to slow down and enjoy a more moderate imbibement. Thanks for your innput regarding pipesandcigars.com and Hearth and Home series.
Smokey Trails,
Charles

Clanobucklin, I love Anniversary Kake, Virginia Spice, and Louisiana Red.
I have received a H&H sampler this week that has some Capitol Stairs in it, but I haven't tried any yet.
I have not tried the 4Noggins Maple blend, but if you are looking for a blend that packs a lot of Maple flavor/punch, give Cornell & Diehl Autmun Evening a try. It is loaded with maple flavor.

After all it was not my TAD that arrived... but...something very useful too.

My first real pipe lighter, an IM Corona Old Boy.

That's a real nice looking lighter!

Bob,
I have tried C&D's "Autumn Evening" and liked it - although I think Pipeworks & Wilke has a more refined maple taste in their "Vermont Maple" blend. What is throwing me off in the 4 Noggins "Essence of Vermont" is that there is perique in the blend. Which could be a plus or a minus - I haven't decided on - Yet. However, I have just started and sometimes it takes a few bowls to get aquainted with a tobacco.
I tried Capitol Stairs twice so far and have liked it. A good morning blend. Soft, mellow, slightly sweet with a French Toast taste on the back pallate. Nice.
I am going out into my ManCave aka the garage to light up some VA Spice in a Trocadero - Comoy 2nd and retry Sunza Bitches later on tonight in a Big WhiteHall "Sussex" - a carved Italian Billiard with nice smooth grain panels.

Only had two bowls today, I went and played disc golf in the pour rain. The first bowl was PA in a MM Cob, Second was half in half in a grabow omega bent. Happy smoking everyone, hope everyone had a good international pipe smoking day yesterday.

Cigar Warehouse Cigar Blend. Very smooth cigar filler chopped with gold Cavendish. Aged for 6 months. Really taking me back to when I was a cigar hound.

Sounds like a good blend dunendain, I'm with phil where did you get it? Right now I'm enjoying a bowl of Prince Albert in a MM Missouri pride corn cob pipe.

Cigar Warehouse is in our Pipe Store locator. In Sherman Oaks Ca.. Larry makes bags of this stuff, darn cheap. I wasn't crazy about this when I bought it. After 6 months of aging: Wow!
