I use a Copenhagen dip tin if I’m going to be out at the farm all day. I have a bad habit of creatively misplacing things. Misplacing a used dip tin with a couple bowls worth of tobacco doesn’t hurt as much as a nice leather pouch. ?.

I have too much clutter in my pockets and often end up finding remnants of tobacco and dog treats intermingled.

Those rubber bands that come with broccoli--I pre-pack my pipe and seal the bowl with a paper towel and the rubber band. I never put a pipe in any pants pocket for fear of snapping the pipe in two.

Now, that’s smart! I’ve tried tin foil and such only to discover it fell off and half dumped out in my pocket.

A guy taught me a pipe cleaner trick years ago that works wonderfully. I've never had one fall out. If I have a tobacco that needs a little dry time before smoking I can load it as is in the morning, cap it with a pipe cleaner and it's perfect by lunch. As an added bonus, I always have a pipe cleaner handy
