Carter Hall is one of my top tobaccos altogether.
Mixture 79 would be my second place OTC if it counts as one.

Surprised that Sutliff has not made that available in bulk.Classic Burley Kak
It's a good one, but I haven't ordered from P&C for a while, so I haven't had it recently. If Sutliff did a bulk version it would probably be available more widely. A few years ago when the 8 oz tins were $18 I'd have been all over them, but now I'd only get it in bulk since those big cans are gone and the 1.5 ounce tins aren't great valueSurprised that Sutliff has not made that available in bulk.
Since they manufacture the H&H blends, I'm very surprised that they haven't cashed in on it in bulk. I remember the sales P&C would have, you could get 18 ounce tins of SPC blends for $18 and Blood Red Moon for $5/tin. +1 for Edgeworth as wellI haven't seen any votes on here yet for Edgeworth/ Lane Ltd Ready Rubbed. That's my "other" after Carter Hall (or rather, Chatham Manor)!
This list makes me happy. There are three or four here I really like, and thought I was alone.Paladin Black Cherry
Carter Hall
Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic
Middleton Apple
Middleton Cherry
Prince Albert Soft Vanilla
Captain Black Dark
Captain Black Grape
Mixture 79
Right there with you exactly, even on the Granger.Carter Hall. Unless you count Five Brothers. Disclaimer: I have yet to try Granger. Soon.
I quite like crooner - how does 382 compare to it?If you ever want to try it, C&D Crooner is the deertongue bomb of the bunch. Then you have Gentleman Caller, New Market, Engine 382, and 4Noggins Mojo.
They're all still on sale and Gold Block is the only one I haven't tried, but Condor Ready Rubbed appears to be the most readily available. All your OTC blends are for the U.S market. If you had a second poll for U.K OTC blends you might get a different result. Incidentally some far sighted person remarked on the forum that there really aren't a lot of U.K OTC blends left kicking around and it was represented by Clan, Gold Block, Condor and St Bruno. I realize I have been away for a while from the U.K but surely they cannot have wiped out so many well known and beloved blends in an act of cultural vandalism?
That's awesome! I'm well known for my love of Carter Hall. Which blends did you order?Thank you everyone for answering the poll.
Carter Hall, followed by Other brands, and Prince Albert won (with SWR very close to PA.)
I've concluded what I think most of us likely knew, we each have our own tastes, likes and dislikes. I've made an order for some of these and hope to find something I can like for a long time. Thanks.

SWRA has a beautiful room note so make sure you share it.Tell me what you love about CH. I'd like to know. For now I got a few pouches: Prince Albert. Carter Hall, and SWRA. I keep hearing good things about CH and Velvet--never heard of Velvet until this forum. So next go round ill likely get Velvet. and perhaps Granger.
