My grandfather picked up the NY Daily News everyday. After school I would run to his house and read Dondi and Dick Tracy. Years later I met Irwin Hasen the creator of Dondi in NYC and told him my story. He is also the co-creator of the original Green Lantern and the creator of... Wildcat!

I haven't read the funny papers in quite a long time. I guess I would have to say Calvin and Hobbes or The Far Side, both of which are no longer in print.

Calvin and Hobbes. You know how some English Lit majors walk around telling people how great Shakespeare was and how The Bard's work covered basically everything you needed to know ever? They were mistaken. It was Bill Watterson.
