I have the dream .... and I think dream refers to nightmares. The exotic orange is the bomb of this genre.

Oh no I’m dead serious about exotic orange (passion). It’s one of the worst tobaccos I’ve tried beyond generic shit pouches.I thought you were being sarcastic before, now I’m confused

and I’ll qualify my opinion by stating that I love aros of all kinds and price and tobaccos of all kinds and price (besides Latakia).
Such a statement might turn you into a pariah here! Maybe I need to try it to see if it gets the taste of Haunted Bookshop out of my memory. Funny how some popular or sought after blends are often hated by a group of people.

in terms of aros, my tastebuds have found GH broken flake #7 to be enough vanilla, and also don’t mind super value choc mixed with a very nutty burley. If you like liquorice, and don’t want to be ridiculed for enjoying 79, the after taste of GH brown flake w liquorice is fragrant enough for me to. I like deer tongue, and have tried mixing dried lemon grass with a simple VA to imitated the hard to get grousemoor.

I was joking... I have a tin of Bob’s Flake on the way and am really not in the position to make any orders after that, hopefully it doesn’t disappoint. As much as I enjoy the MacBaren Vanilla, the Haddo’s Delight I long finished, etc., all the aros I’ve tried lack body or something, and just don’t get me into a contemplative state.
I have dreams of 10+ tin orders...but I’m too much of a wuss to play chicken with customs with that much. Haha
You should enjoy uncle Bob’s, depending on your Latakia preference you can let it mellow as required. While quite different to BCF, I have been smoking a lot of voodoo queen. I like how the mocha notes are in the second half of the bowl and in the background/remain on the palette.
I feel your pain. When I use to order snuff from the UK I did the same, the real downside is not optimizing your shipping expenses. Do you order your pipes tobacco from the US or UK? It’s probably hard for US sites to stay competitive with shipping expenses, the United States postal service charges an arm and a leg to ship overseas these days.
I almost exclusively purchase through smoking pipes using the super saver international shipping for 4oz bulk or 50g tin orders - works out about half the tobacco cost and takes around 3-4weeks to arrive. From time to time I will order 12-14oz and pay for USPS first class which takes about a week to arrive, and I will try and get these to coincide with public holidays. To put in perspective, a tin of Peterson’s costs about $80us to buy here in NZ. Even with the international shipping costs and duty charges, it works out cheaper and I have more selection. I might check out some UK sites though, any recommendations?
