Best Non-aromatic: Frog Morton On The Bayou
Best Aromatic: Mac Baren Cube Silver
Irish Flake by Peterson would've bumped the FMOTB, but it's just too nic heavy for me to smoke every day!

I'm about 8 months or so into my career as a pipe smoker. I've had lots of time to get involved and I have tried maybe? 30 blends?....I haven't found one that I wouldn't keep. It's been a revelation.

I guess if I had to answer as if it were a "yes" or "no" question...it's gotta be one of the tins I got in the 5 tins for $29.99 deal @ P&C. Among those were Balkan Sasieni, Knighcap, WhiteKnight. I've enjoyed these immensely.

I will always try to have some good VaPa, VaBur, and codger blends on hand, but the latakia and orientals have opened my eyes even more.

This has been a great first year of pipes and tobacco for me, thanks in no small measure to the input of my forum friends and contributors!

Thanks for everything.

Man...tried a number of new blends this year but I guess I can narrow it down to 2 that are tied:
GLP Gaslight and C&D Pirate Kake.

Mr. P's Gaslight and Sixpence blew me away, but by far my fav for 2014 was C&D Bayou Morning Flake. It's just plain scrumptious.

Frog Morton Cellar was by far my favorite blend of 2014. I have a feeling it will probably be my "go to" blend again this year.

Then would come

PS Bullseye Flake

SPC Mississippi River

Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake
