That's the most expansive gallery of pipe smoking celebrities I've seen, and thanks for that. Some are just posing in movie roles, and others are just using the pipe as a prop probably. But many were regular known pipe smokers. Interesting all the way through.

I saw many of these pics over the years, but this was the most expansive. I was surprised to see Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Bronson… and many others.

Likely preaching to the choir here, but a few points I notice are that a) men dressed better (still not uncommon to see old Greek men going for a sip of coffee in three-piece suit, hat and tie), b) men (and women) looked better - the "imperfections" older generations had made them "better" looking in my opinions compared with the current trend of airbrushing everything, filters, 50 types of cosmetics 5 times per day, perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect skin, perfect bodies make people look like plastic dolls rather than actual human beings c) men looked more...well...manly.
