I know one is mentioned in Waiting For Godot but I hadn't heard that he was a pipe smoker himself. It's interesting how many people in that era smoked both pipes and cigarettes
Never seen Beckett with a pipe in hand but knowing he was a cigar fan I wouldn't be surprised if he smoked one every now and again.
On a side note, I picked up a 4 book set of all his collected works for €15 in a book shop not too long ago. Beautiful collection!

British actor Sir Ralph Richardson (1902-1983). I think his most memorable role was as The Supreme Being in the Terry Gilliam movie ' Time Bandits' (1981). Sadly he never smoked a pipe in that role, an unfortunate omission because I am sure God smokes a pipe.
Probably not so well known stateside, but here in UK amongst us oldies, another famous Falcon pipe man is Jack Hargreaves. Hardly ever on TV back in the day without his trusty Falcon Extra.
