Yeah, i'm so used qualifying on Saturday with the race on a Sunday, that it's easy to forget.
Looks like a decent ticket for Sunday is about $450.Yeah, i'm so used qualifying on Saturday with the race on a Sunday, that it's easy to forget.
Yeah, i'm not a fan of the sprint races. Good to see Antonelli get his first pole.Hmm. I know this is not really the situation. And I am the antithesis of a conspiracy theorist. But does this not appear to be a cutty-up? Hamilton the multi-champion veteran winning the pole and sprint in China. And now the next sprint in Miami with the rookie and youngest ever pole-winner Antonelli. Headline grabbing for the new shallow quasi-fans and fodder for next season’s Netflix series? Nevertheless, isn’t it wonderful? I enjoyed it. Imagine that. The useless waste of time sprint weekends, putting a smile on my face.
That looks funNo race this weekend, so I drove Suzaka. A member of our local British Car Club hosted a "British Pub Night" at his home (he has a replica of a British pub in his home). In his theater room, he was showing "Grand Prix" and has this F1 simulator. I drove maybe five laps, with the difficulty nearly turned off. I was exhausted. You had to really jump on the carbon-fiber brakes hard and fight the wheel. The haptic feedback wore me out (and that was with no real G's to contend with). I could have stayed there all night, but other members wanted a turn. His current setup had the 2025 Aston-Martin (he owns an AM). He had three other steering wheels and a six speed manual shift. I would have love to take a run with a clutch car. It has a surround sound and the engine noise was quite loud. I wouldn't have made it one lap in race mode with other cars on the track (and damage on). I can see how F1 rookies use these systems to their advantage.

I found it pretty entertaining.Quite a dull race.
Was hoping Piastre would win. But Verstappen deserved that one. What an overtake.
