Was it me or was the background sounds of the race louder than the commentary on the ESPN/Sky race coverage? It was very frustrating.

I hope and wouldn’t be surprised if the championship comes down to the last lap of the last race. We’ll see, I’ll be watching every minute of every session!
You are right. That Scottish pit reporters voice is also for some reason, unnerving.

Crazy that both McLaren's were disqualified. It's going to be one a horse race now to the end.

Oscar's only 24 points behind, too.
Lando can't afford mistakes, now. If he fucks it into the wall or has a mechanical failure then Oscar and Max are poised to take advantage. Next weeks race has a sprint race so there's even more points on offer and chances to catch Lando. I'd love to see Max somehow win the title. It wasn't that long ago that it looked like he had no chance.

I did read a while ago that because McClaren were so far ahead they'd stopped developing this years car as much and were pouring more resources into next years. On the other hand, Red Bull never stopped developing this years car. At the time I thought it was a mistake as they had no chance of winning the title so might as well put the resources into next years car. Seems I was wrong.

McLaren seems to have the car, but just keep making boneheaded moves, on and off the track.

I think they will too. Qatar was an epic failure for them. Piastri looked so damn good all weekend.
I couldn't believe that they didn't pit behind the safety car. Big mistake to make at this point of the season. If they make any mistakes like that in the final race Max will be ready to pounce. They can't afford anymore fuck ups.

I felt so bad for Piastri. He seemed completely dejected. Watching Max and Sainz hooting and hollering for their P1 and P3 finishes, and he's on the P2 podium looking like he'd rather be anywhere else.

Regardless of the fact that he most likely won't win the WDC, I hope he has a great race on Sunday.
