I feel your pain! We had to put our dog down in early 2021 and we're so devastated that we ended up getting not one but two rescues to fill the gap. Keep spreading the love forward since there are so many great animals that need a good home and love. Always sad to loose a bear friend though. Take care!

wild dogs live for about two years so the way I try to look at it 15 plus years is over seven and a half lifetimes of being pampered and loved. Still sad though.

Since Sir Kane was a nautical dog, from his photos, I thought I would smoke something with a water reference, so I am smoking a bowl of GLP Barbary Coast. May he meet with smooth sailing and rollicking on the further shore, and meet us all there when the time comes.

The only pet we had to put down is my parents Labrador, he was a true friend, had a lot of fun with him. Stonecold crazy animal, they say Labs are known for their obidience, this one wasnt at all. Cancer got the better part of him.

I fear the day we have to put down our cat, last year he was halfway to the pearly gates, but he decided he wanted to go back.
