Where might one locate Esoterica tobacco on-line?
Where did you get this information? It may be worth noting that the parent company JF Germain is no longer interested in selling their tobaccos to the West. Its all going to Asia, just like Algerian briar.
You might be able to find Esoterica online at all of the stores with an online presence, but you will need to be psychic and be ready to jump on it within 30 seconds of the announcement that it's in, assuming the online seller sends out an announcement. You can get on mailing lists with some online sellers, and a couple of years later, when they get to your place in the queue, they'll send you a notice and you will have to be psychic and ready to go within 30 seconds or it will sell to someone else. The only exception to this, of which I'm aware, is Iwan Ries. After your years of waiting in the queue they will send you a notice that your request is in. They will actually hold your order and give you three days to buy it before releasing it to someone else. THAT'S a class act.Where might one locate Esoterica tobacco on-line?
The hunt is part of the fun with Esoterica/Germain’s in the ??. If ya don’t like mining , do bother going after the gold. ?️I don't know what things are like in the US, and my only comparative to Esoterica is Germain's (same company, but there UK offerings).
They are excellent tobaccos, and I try and pick a bit up when it comes available. However, they are not so good that they are worth all the hassle you will probably have to go through to get them.
Germain's blends Esoterica exclusively for Arango in the US. It says so right on the tin/bag. Germains is sold both in the UK and elsewhere.Ok, Esoterica is still available in the U.S., albeit rarely and in limited quantities. But Germains seems to have disappeared completely. On the other hand, I'm not sure its entirely accurate to say that Germains is the UK offering and Esoterica the export offering.
How old are those tins/bags??️My tins and bags of Esoterica do not say this.
It used to say Blended Exclusively for Esoterica . . ., then Blended Exclusively for Butera . . ., and now Blended Exclusively for Arango . . .3 or 4 years. The tins list Arango as the US importer, but there's nothing about exclusivity.
A little history lesson on the Esoterica line is in order.Ok, Esoterica is still available in the U.S., albeit rarely and in limited quantities. But Germains seems to have disappeared completely. On the other hand, I'm not sure its entirely accurate to say that Germains is the UK offering and Esoterica the export offering.
